I’m 5′11 and 20 years old.
3 months ago, I weighed 191. I decided to just lose it so I joined a gym, ran abunch and did ab workouts. I calorie counted and ate right. So today I weigh 167. I’m within a healthy range on the bmi, but…..where do I go from here? I lost the weight but should I go lower? Whats the average wirght for my height and age?
And women, what would be the PERFECT ideal weight if your bf was 5′11 and 20 years old
I think 160 is a good ideal weight but muscular..that is very sexy.

Hey without the examples of the extreme, I think women with athletic builds and noticeable muscle can be admirable and quite hot!
I like to work out and keep myself toned and I get lots of compliments from both men and women, so I don’t think that’s abnormal. I’m toned, and if I make a muscle you can see it, but I’m very average for an athletic girl. I’m no Olympian.
But fitness women and other gym freaks who diet down to nothing to get "noticeable muscles" are troubled individuals with serious psychological and eating disorders. And women on steroids who want to look like men are troubled individuals with psychological disorders doing irrevocable harm to their bodies. And those bodybuilders and fitness girls who combine steroids with anorexic eating habits simply have a death wish. There’s nothing attractive about any of them, and to encourage them is to encourage these women to lead short sick lives.
I’m assuming that’s not what you mean. I hope not.

no such thing as the lower abs.
the rectus abdominis is a single muscle and muscles either contract as a whole or not at all. this is why you can’t isolate part of a muscle.
to get rid of the pooch you have to decrease your body fat % low enough to see the desired results in that area. you can’t spot reduce fat stores

I go to the gym about 3 times a week and i have good defined arms not too big but still strong, i have recently been working on my abs to get a six pack. Ive been working on getting a six pack for the last 2 months and now i have one thats well defined i just wanted to know if women find that attractive as i dont know whether to carry on working at it or to slow it down?
Not really as most men who have them can come across as very arrogant.

I have a pregnancy workout tape, but it doesnt seem challenging enough to help me in labor. It does some kegals and ab exercises (that are safe for pregnant women), but other than that its just some yoga. I used to work out a lot, but not since several months before my pregnancy, so Im not in shape, but still the tapes arent challenging me enough to help me in labor, I think….any tips on what helped you?
p.s. I found out Im having a baby girl!!!
<3
Oh..and this is my first baby
Congrats on the baby girl. If you weren’t working out before your pregnancy don’t start something that feels challenging right now. There are lots of things you can do that don’t feel painful while you are doing them that will help you in labor. My doctor told me to walk alot during pregnancy when I wasn’t having problems. I walked about 2miles a day. When I went into labor I had my baby in 6hrs which is pretty good for a first time mom. The doctor contributed it to me walking. Best wishes to you.

like 9 out of then would rather have a guy have a 6 pack rather then a big chest.
Do you just like the way they look better?
Because I am working to get a big chest rather than a six pack right now although both would be good. 6 pack is a second priority to me right now in working out.
Because some men tend to look like they have breasts if they have big pectoral muscles, and if a woman is going to date a man, she would rather the man have abs than breasts.

I’m 22 y/o, 5′2 and weigh about 115-120 lbs. I’m short but have a "thin" physique w. a chubby tummy (haha). I’m not stick skinny nor do I have a body of a 12 yr old. All my life I’ve had the "fast metabolism" gene and now i’m noticing that everything I eat, will show on my body. My thighs and butt are suddenly just BIG - the size of it and it’s not completely fat either. it’s like…they just grew somehow. I have been working out and toning and it has been shrinking a bit but the size and shape are completely different than before. My thighs now made my old thighs look like a 10 yr old. Right now my workouts are swimming aerobics, quick cardio (fr. workouts on tv), and ab, booty workouts. I eat 6 small meals a day and increased my protein intake. I don’t wanna lose my weight (bc i don’t need to), i just wanna tone.
Questions:
1. How can I trim my stomach? I’ve been swimming aerobics 1/wk w. small cardio, lunges, ab workouts for a month now and it has shown results. My stomach is flat now (before it was beer belly) BUT it’s still kinda chubby.
2. Is it possible for a woman to have a completely tone and lean HEALTHY body but w. boobs? I’m already a 34B and I’m just worried I won’t have any boobs If I get lean :/ I actually notice they stick out more…is there muscle that grows underneath?
Go to the gym for awhile or stay home watch the fit channel on your and work out with them.

feminise their body by growing breasts and somehow developing curves?
Because bodybuilding reduces fat and increases testosterone, aren’t female bodybuilders diluting their femininity? Are they still able to have children? At least figure competitors still look like women….
Of course people can do as they like, women can do what ever activity they wish to do. Your thoughts on this very un-PC question
Yes, yes and maybe, I agree for the most part.
I think the really full-on female bodybuilders, the ones who take steroids, are those who are in denial about their femaleness. Probably, as young girls, they would have identified with boys much more than other girls. Then, as puberty hits, they would feel ashamed about being weaker than males, and about their breasts, periods etc. So they would go into denial about being female and seek to compensate for that by working out their muscles and bodybuilding.
Can they still have children? Possibly - you can take a lot of steroids and still be a fully-functioning woman - look at Marion Jones for instance, who has had a couple of kids.
